9:30 Coffee Break: Named After A Song
April 04, 2014

It can be pretty hard to think of a name for your band. So, a lot of bands through time have taken inspiration for the title or lyrics from a song by another artist. A big example would be The Rolling Stones - who named themselves from the classic blues song "Rollin' Stone" by Muddy Waters.
Listener David K. of New York City suggests this as a good topic for a 9:30 Coffee Break: bands who got their names from the title of a song by another artist (or the lyrics in the song).
