The Sporting Life with Star Tribune's Michael Rand: Can The Wild Win
April 28, 2014

Every Monday at 8:30am StarTribune sports writer Michael Rand stops into the Morning Show to share the latest news in Sports.
Today Michael Rand chatted with The Morning Show's Jill Riley and Steve Seel about:
1) Game 6 between The Wild and Avalanche is Monday night in St. Paul, and the Wild must win to keep its season alive. A lot of fans are still upset over some questionable officiating that contributed to a loss in game 5 Saturday.
2) Donald Sterling, owner of the NBA's Clippers, was caught on a recording berating his girlfriend for taking a picture with Magic Johnson and sharing it on social media. Why? He's black. Sterling is understandably getting crushed from all sides, and the players on his team had a form of protest during Sunday's playoff game.
3) Ballots for this year's MLB all-star game came out Friday, another reminder that Target Field is playing host to the game this July.
