9:30 Coffee Break: Young Band Members
September 09, 2014

When the Replacements first formed in 1979, bass player Tommy Stinson was only 13-years-old. The rest of the band was between 19 and 20, but young Tommy stayed with the band until 1991 when they took a long break. There are a number of bands that have one member that is extremely young.
Today's Coffee Break will focus on bands with one youngster (sorry, boy bands and groups with all young members don't count). What bands with one young member should we play for the 9:30 Coffee Break?
Songs Played:
The Box Tops - "The Letter" (Alex Chilton)
Bow Wow Wow - "I Want Candy" (Annabella Lwin)
Jackson 5 - "I Want You Back" (Michael Jackson)
The Replacements - "Tommy Gets His Tonsils Out" (Tommy Stinson)
Spencer Davis Group - "Gimme Some Lovin" (Steve Winwood)
Def Leppard - "Rock of Ages" (Rick Allen)
