We were at a press preview for David Bowie Is, a museum exhibit covering Bowie's entire career. Organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and traveling worldwide, the show opens on Tuesday at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago—its only U.S. stop.
David Bowie Is will be on display at the MCA Chicago from Sept. 23 through Jan. 4. A documentary about Bowie and the exhibit, also called David Bowie Is, will screen at theaters nationwide—including the Lagoon Cinema in Minneapolis and the Rochester Galaxy 14—at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23. Listen to the Current on Monday, Sept. 22, for chances to win tickets to the Minneapolis screening, which will feature an introduction by Mary Lucia.
