Owner of full service wine shop, Solo Vino, and wine expert for Minnesota Monthly's New Vintage, Chuck Kanski joins the Current's Morning Show to talk about wine trends in Minnesota and around the world.

Today, Chuck spoke to The Morning Show's Steve Seel and Jill Riley about German and Austrian wines.

We will have 100 wines from Austria & Germany. From Germany the focus will be on the varietal Riesling and its amazing ability to range in style from dry to strength of fruit. For red wines the rising star in Germany is Pinot Noir. In Austria the main white is Gruner Veltliner and for reds we will have a focus on Zweigelt and St. Laurent.
