9:30 Coffee Break: Bobby Keys
December 03, 2014

Bobby Keys, the larger-than-life saxophone player who toured with the Rolling Stones for more than 45 years and played on studio classics like "Brown Sugar" and "Live With Me," has passed away. He was 70. Keys got his start playing with Buddy Holly and Bobby Vee before meeting the Rolling Stones and playing on a huge number of great albums from various artists.
For today's Coffee Break let's honor Bobby Keys and play songs from the deep list of artists that he worked with. What songs featuring Bobby Keys should we play for today's Coffee Break?
Songs Played:
The Rolling Stone - "Live With Me"
John Lennon - "Whatever Gets You Through The Night"
Dion and the Bellmonts - "The Wanderer"
The Rolling Stones - "Emotional Rescue"
Warren Zevon - "Poor Poor Pitiful Me"
