1) We joke a lot about the losing culture here in Minnesota, but this is ridiculous: a reader tweeted at me that the Wild, Wolves, Gophers men's basketball and Gophers men's hockey teams are a combined 2-20 since Dec 30. Ouch.

2) It was a "gronking to remember" for the Patriots this weekend. Rob Gronkowski had a huge game in helping New England reach the AFC title game. They'll face the Colts, while the Packers and Seahawks will play in the NFC for the right to go to the Super Bowl.

3) The first ever college football playoff champion will be crowned Monday night. Oregon vs Ohio State, and it should be a great game.
