MotirôContempo Physical Dance brings this energetic program to the Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts in Minneapolis. Its title is derived from a Brazilian indigenous word connoting people coming together to build something, which suits its choreography that fuses African, Brazilian and contemporary dance styles. Shows run Friday, Jan. 30, to Sunday, Feb. 1.

Love and Information — Caryl Churchill's play features all sorts of vignettes; all told, 57 micro-scenes in one evening; some are as short as 30 seconds, yet all explore our search for meaning and quest for connection.
