9:30 Coffee Break: Led Zeppelin's Legacy
by Steve Seel and Jill Riley
February 24, 2015
Forty years ago today, Led Zeppelin released the double album, Physical Graffiti.
Led Zeppelin are considered one of the most innovative and influential bands in the history of rock music. With their blues-rooted guitar riffs, wailing vocals and aggressive drums, Led Zeppelin redefined the rock sound. Since that time, countless artists since have been influenced and inspired by Led Zeppelin's music.
That's why for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, we're asking you: What songs by bands or artists influenced by Led Zeppelin do you want to hear?
Songs Played
Jack White - "Lazaretto"
The Black Keys "Little Black Submarines"
J. Roddy Walston and the Business - "Heavy Bells"
Alabama Shakes - "I Found You"
Queens of the Stone Age - "My God is the Sun"
Wolfmother - "Woman"
