9:30 Coffee Break: Musicians in Comedic Roles
March 11, 2015

With programs like Portlandia and Saturday Night Live, not to mention feature films, Funny or Die videos, our own Wits radio program and a vast number of late-night TV comedy shows, there is no shortage of outlets where musicians can show off their comedic skills.
As Conan writer/performer (and Current listener) Brian Stack recently told The Current, "I'm often pleasantly surprised to see how often my favorite musicians happen to be comedy fans. There's a lot of crossover between music and comedy."
So for today's Coffee Break, we're thinking about musicians and bands who have appeared in comedy programming.
What songs by artists who have appeared in comedic roles do you want to hear? Send us your requests.
