The city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has been in the news recently for its enthusiastic enforcement of the speed limit on its expressway.

Cedar Rapids has four sets of cameras that monitor traffic on Interstate 380, which passes through the center of town. During a 20-month period spanning 2013 and 2014, the city of Cedar Rapids sent speeding tickets by mail to more than 160,000 motorists, including to more than 16,000 drivers from Minnesota.

Obviously, we want to encourage safe operation of motor vehicles — but that doesn't negate the fact there are a lot of songs out there that reference speedy driving.
