It's a time of year for finals: The NBA season is going into its championship series as the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will compete in the NBA finals. Simultaneously, the NHL's Stanley Cup finals get underway this week as the Chicago Blackhawks face the Tampa Bay Lightning to determine that league's champion. And much closer to home for a lot of people, students in colleges and high schools are either finishing their finals or have recently completed their final exams.

With all this finality going on, it got us thinking about songs that go out in a big way. Specifically, we're thinking about songs that ramp up at the end and go out loud and strong with crescendos of vocals, guitar, drums — or often, all of the above.
