MPR News Arts Reporter Marianne Combs joins Jill Riley and Sean McPherson to talk about a comedy show at Bedlam Theatre, a summery art exhibit at the Minnesota Museum of American Art, and a play that came about "according to a recent study."

The Funny — Comedy duo Raw Sugar curates a night of fresh artists showcasing new stand-up, burlesque, music and more. Collaborating artists include Rachel Petrie, Andi Cheney, Molly Budke, Paige Collette, Nickey Robare, Akiko Ostlund, Sarah Parker, Anna Sutheim, Shannon Mae Leach, Hattie Hsu, Madelyne Riley, Rana May and Chase Burns and Jared Zeigler of Homo Hotdish, along with nightly guest appearances. Shows are this weekend and next at Bedlam Theatre in downtown St. Paul.

Summertime — The Minnesota Museum of American Art went through its permanent collection and pulled out images that seemed to best capture summertime — in paintings, sculpture, photography. This summery exhibit is on display until Aug. 2, 2015, at the MMAA in downtown St. Paul.

No Expiration Date: Sexuality & Aging — Based on a study conducted at the Program in Human Sexuality at the University of Minnesota, this play was scripted by Pangea World Theater's Executive/Literary Director Meena Natarajan from the focus group narratives of 61 seniors of diverse backgrounds and sexual orientations who were gathered to discuss their experiences of sexuality and aging. No Expiration Date runs at Intermedia Arts in Minneapolis from June 5 to 14.
