Matt and Kim, who have been making music together for more than a decade now, totally impressed the crowd at Rock the Garden last year with their spirited live show. In town for a sold out show at Mill City Nights in support of their new album New Glow, Matt and Kim stopped by The Current to take over the airwaves with a Theft of the Dial.

"We just love a lot of energy, a strong melody and a big beat," says Matt. And their Theft of the Dial is an accurate representation of that statement. On the playlist you'll find Lizzo, who also played Rock the Garden last year. "She kills it!" says Kim.

The playlist also features a few of their longtime friends who also happen to make music, they explained. King Tuff's Kyle Thomas grew up with Matt in Vermont where Kevin Morbey, formerly of Babies, and Santigold are pals who live in their Brooklyn neighborhood.

Playlist

Generationals - "Heart in Two"
Santigold - "Keepers"
King Tuff - "Demons from Hell"
Fidlar - "No Waves"
Kevin Morbey - "All of My Life"
Lizzo - "W.E.R.K Pt. 2"
The Cults - "Go Outside"
Matt and Kim - "Can You Blame Me"
