What songs do you want to hear for today's coffee break?

Earlier this morning, our history highlight celebrated the 75th birthday of Nancy Sinatra, who had the 1966 No. 1 hit, "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'".

That song helped popularize go-go boots, a fashion item of the mid-1960s. But as we thought about Nancy Sinatra's hit song, it got us thinking about how there are a lot of songs that reference not only boots, but also shoes, socks and other footwear.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that reference footwear? Send us your requests.

Songs Played

Bob Dylan "Boots of Spanish Leather"
New York Dolls "Puss 'N' Boots"
KC and the Sunshine "Boogie Shoes"
Carl Perkins "Blue Suede Shoes"
Arctic Monkeys "Knee Socks"
Foster the People "Pumped up Kicks"
