9:30 Coffee Break: Breaking up is hard to - d'oh!

According to a report in Us Weekly magazine, Simpsons executive producer Al Jean has confirmed that Marge and Homer Simpson are legally separating after 26 seasons of marriage.

Jean says the plot involves a revelation that Homer has narcolepsy, and this has a detrimental effect on his marriage with Marge. Homer subsequently falls in love with his pharmacist, who will be voiced by Lena Dunham.

It's hard to believe Homer and Marge won't eventually work things out, but for the meantime, we can't help thinking about anything but breakup songs for the Simpsons.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what breakup songs do you want to hear for Homer and Marge Simpson? Send us your requests.

Songs Played

Neil Sedaka "Breaking Up is Hard to Do"
Rilo Kiley "Breakin' Up"
The Rolling Stones "I'm Free"
Nilsson "Without You"
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)"
Fleetwood Mac "Go Your Own Way"
