Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood says that the band's forthcoming album will include the first officially-released recording of "Lift," a song Radiohead first performed in 1996. Greenwood suggested that the band never found the right arrangement of "Lift" until now. (Billboard)

Apple has denied reports that it's threatening to remove artists' music from the iTunes Store if they decline to participate in the free (and unpaid) three-month trial period for new streaming service Apple Music. Kubana, the largest outdoor music festival in Russia, is looking for a new home. In the past it's been held near the Black Sea, but this year it was to be moved to the village of Yantarny—until local Orthodox activists protested, claiming the festival promotes unsavory moral values.
