Eating and Drinking with The Growler's Joe Alton: New Minnesota Breweries

Joe Alton is editor-in-chief of The Growler and project director of the Beer Dabbler. He joins The Current's Morning Show to talk about some underrated breweries in Minnesota.
Joe Alton stops by The Current's Morning Show to talk to Jill Riley and Sean McPherson about new breweries popping up all over Minnesota. "There's a lot of growth," Joe says. "It is one of the fastest-growing markets in the country."
He estimates there will be 100 to 110 new Minnesota breweries in operation by the end of 2015, adding that Minnesota could double the amount of breweries it has and still "not come close" to what's happening in places like Portland, Ore., and Denver.
