Age ratings are set to become much more prominent on music videos streamed over YouTube and Vevo in the UK. Both major and independent labels send videos to the British Board of Film Classification to have the videos age-rated before being posted; YouTube and Vevo will now start displaying the age ratings prominently, and videos rated 18 will not load until viewers are warned that they contain adult content.
