Last night in Denver, the Minnesota Wild launched their 2015-16 season in grand fashion. The hosts Denver Avalanche raced to a 3 - 0 lead in the first period, but the Wild, led by a Zach Parise hat trick, pulled off a stunning comeback to win the game 5 to 4.

The term "hat trick" is used in hockey and soccer, and it refers to when a single player scores three goals in a single game. (The term originally came from cricket, where, in 1858, H.H. Stephenson took three wickets with three consecutive deliveries; fans presented Stephenson with a hat as a gift for his achievement.)

But scoring a hat trick is considered a bit of magic in the sporting world. Along those lines, there are a lot of songs that celebrate magic.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that mention "magic," "trick" or "tricky"? Send us your requests.

Songs Played

Run DMC "It's Tricky"
Electric Light Orchestra "Strange Magic"
Coldplay "Magic"
Empress Of "Hat Trick"
The Lovin' Spoonful "Do You Believe in Magic"
