Every Tuesday at 7:30 a.m., John Moe stops into the Morning Show to share the latest news in technology.

This week, John Moe stopped by The Current's Morning Show to talk to Jade and Sean McPherson about two holiday topics — the "Tweets of Old" Twitter feed and a 45-minute video of Nick Offerman drinking whiskey in front of a fire.

"If I had to cut back to only one person to follow on all of Twitter, this would be it," John says. @TweetsofOld, run by New Yorker cartoonist Julia Suits. It the Twitter feed, Julia takes real excerpts from newspapers a century or so ago and runs them as tweets.

To keep in spirit with the holidays, every December, she runs very old letters to Santa from children.

"Dear Santa. Please bring me a bean shooter and a doll baby and a cage of lions. Roy Schildknecht MD 1903," Sean reads.

In addition to holiday tweets of old, John discusses a video that Nick Offerman released along with a whiskey company that is 45 minutes of Nick sitting in front of a roaring fire with a glass of whiskey.

"It's hypnotic, and you wait for a twist but just keep waiting because it will never come," John says.

John Moe co-hosts the podcast Conversation Parade (with Open Mike Eagle) on the Infinite Guest network, and is an author of a number of books, including The Deleted Emails of Hilary Clinton: A Parody and Dear Luke, We Need To Talk, Darth: And Other Pop Culture Correspondences.
