9:30 Coffee Break: Songs for Solstice
by Anna Reed
December 22, 2015

Today is the winter solstice, which is the shortest day, and the longest night, of the year.
While some take this time to enjoy the darkness and contemplate their existence, others hide away until this (quite literally) dark day is over. Either way, starting tomorrow, we should see a little bit more light in our days.
In the meantime, let's all get through this dark day together with great songs that are short in length.
And thanks to Ashley for the suggestion.
Songs Played
Simon and Garfunkel "The 58th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)"
Blur "Song 2"
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Tick"
Guided By Voices "Littlest League Possible"

The Beatles "Her Majesty"
Minutemen "Please Don't Be Gentle With Me"
