Motörhead fans are circulating a petition to have one of four newly created heavy metal elements be named "Lemmium" after the late Lemmy Kilmister. Normally, new elements must be named after "a mythological concept, a mineral, a place or country, a property or a scientist," but fans argue that since a star has already been named after Lemmy, the new element can just be named after the star.
