Throbbing Hive with John Moe: Wikipedia edits and movie buff videos
January 19, 2016

Every Tuesday at 7:30 a.m., John Moe stops into the Morning Show to share the latest news in technology.
This week, John Moe stopped by The Current's Morning Show to talk to Jade and Sean McPherson about the top 15 most edited articles on Wikipedia, and a pair of new fan videos out there for movie buffs.
Wikipedia has released it's list of the 100 most edited articles, and Sean and Jade take turns guessing which articles top the list. "I think people had some opinions and they made those known," John said. See if you can guess which article takes the cake.
Elsewhere throbbing in the hive, there's a pair of new fan videos out there for movie buffs.
In memory of Alan Rickman, a fan put Alan's head (as Hans Gruber) over Han Solo's in a mashup of "Star Wars" vs. "Die Hard". "You have the blowing up of the Death Star which dovetails nicely with the explosions of Nakatomi Plaza in the movie 'Die Hard'," John says.
Another fan edited all of the internal emotions out of the Pixar movie "Inside Out". "It's kind of interesting to see a Pixar movie where nothing springs to life...and is just this long parade of sadness ending in a mild amount of hope," John says.
John Moe co-hosts the podcast Conversation Parade (with Open Mike Eagle) on the Infinite Guest network, and is an author of a number of books, including The Deleted Emails of Hilary Clinton: A Parody and Dear Luke, We Need To Talk, Darth: And Other Pop Culture Correspondences.
