Coffee Break: Studio chatter
April 06, 2016
Today in 1966, the first session of what would become The Beatles album Revolver started in the evening at Abbey Road studios London.
The album features the song "Taxman", which included one of the first instances of studio noise - counting and throat cleaning - being included on the beginning final version of the track.
So for today's Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that include studio chatter on the track?
We'll accept any sort of non-musical noise. Coughing, chatting, counting, room noise, etc.
Songs played
Taxman - The Beatles
Valerie feat. Amy Winehouse - Mark Ronson
Andy Warhol - David Bowie
Pickles From The Jar - Courtney Barnett
Daydream Believer - The Monkees
Customer - The Replacements
