On Thursday, April 21, Minnesota and the world lost a beloved musical icon when Prince died at the age of 57.

Friday on Oake and Riley in the Morning, we'll continue to remember and to celebrate Prince. Each hour, we'll play a number of songs by Prince, and we'll supplement that by Prince's influences and those he influenced: e.g. Little Richard, Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix, Sly and the Family Stone, Patti Labelle, Grand Funk Railroad, Parliament-Funkadelic, Mavis Staples, Janelle Monae, OK Go, Beck, Morris Day and the Time, and many more.

We'll also read listener comments, and Brian and Jill will share their own thoughts and reflections. Plus:

6:30 a.m. Vinyl Tap
8 a.m. Peter Greenlund, who toured with Prince for nine years, joins us in studio
8:30 a.m. - Crazy2Cool rebroadcast
9 a.m. - Andrea Swensson joins us in studio to share her favorite Prince stories
9:30 a.m. - a special Coffee Break

Thank you for joining us for a special Oake and Riley in the Morning we're calling the Ultimate Funky Friday.
