This morning we played Sinead O'Connor's "Nothing Compares 2 U", originally written and performed by Prince, and it got us thinking about Prince's signature "text speak".

Text speak is basically any way to shorten the words and sentences you are sending to someone in order to make them fit into a smaller text. Whether it's using symbols, shortening words like "luv" and "gr8", or using numbers instead of written words, let's focus on text speak this morning.
