Coffee Break: What's going on?
July 07, 2016
Last night, a St. Anthony police officer shot and killed an African-American man during a traffic stop.
The aftermath of the incident was caught on Facebook live by the man's girlfriend, adding to outrage from protesters, the NAACP and members of the public. You can follow more about last night's events over at MPR News.
We don't know all the facts of the case, and there hasn't been a full investigation yet, but want to give you a chance to react to last night's events with today's 9:30 Coffee Break.
Jill says if she could prescribe a song for last night's events, it would be Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On". What song would you choose?
Songs played
What's Going On - Marvin Gaye
Mad World - Tears for Fears
