Coffee Break: French musicians and bands
July 14, 2016

It's Bastille Day today - a French national holiday celebrating the Storming of the Bastille in 1789 and the Fete de la Federation which celebrated the unity of the French people in 1790.
Here in Minnesota, we like to celebrate Bastille Day with a block party in Uptown, which is this Sunday at 3 pm featuring Babes in Toyland, Astronautalis, the Brass Messengers and the Bad Bad Hats.
And we'd like to celebrate it today with a Coffee Break.
So, what French musicians and bands do you want to hear for today's 9:30 Coffee Break?
Songs played
Bonnie and Clyde - Serge Gainsbourg
Sexy Boy - Air
Lay Your Head Down - Keren Ann
Listzomania - Phoenix
Game And Performance - Deux
Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger - Daft Punk
je taime... moi non plus - Serge Gainsbourg
Do you deserve a Coffee Break? We at Oake & Riley think you do, and we want to bring coffee and treats from Gigi's Cafe to your workplace. In addition, we'll bring along local artist Chris Koza to perform a couple of songs for you and your coworkers. Let us know why you'd like a Coffee Break - or request your own idea for a future topic.
And if you'd like a song played just for you based on your life experience, request a song for Rx Radio.
