The Current will broadcast Wilco's set live from NE Minneapolis' Historic Hall's Island on-air and online.

Following soundcheck, frontman Jeff Tweedy joined Brian Oake and Jill Riley of Oake & Riley in the Morning for a chat in The Current's broadcast trailer. They talked Star Wars, the forthcoming Schmilco, what an angel Mavis Staples is and what's in store for their set tonight (hint: it's going to be good).

Stream the conversation using the audio player above, and be sure to tune in to the live broadcast starting at 6 p.m. CT on The Current.
