Coffee Break: International chocolate day
by Anna Reed
September 13, 2016

Can you smell it in the air? It's International Chocolate Day.
A day to celebrate all things chocolate, it occurs on the birthday of Milton S. Hershey - the founder of the Hershey Chocolate Company - who was born today in 1857. Before he came onto the scene, chocolate was a decadence only afforded by the rich. Hershey started offering an affordable chocolate bar starting in 1900, and the Hershey's kiss starting in 1907.
So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that mention chocolate in the lyrics?
Songs played
Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk - Rufus Wainwright
Savoy Truffle - The Beatles
Chocolate Jesus - Tom Waits
More Songs About Chocolate and Girls - The Undertones
Chocolate and Strawberries - The Januaries
Chocolate On My Tongue - The Wood Brothers
Chocolate Rain - Tay Zonday
Chocolate City - Parliament
