Coffee Break: Bad singers
by Anna Reed
September 20, 2016

We don't know why or how it happens, but sometimes the best bands have the worst singers. John Moe explored this concept for The Current last week, saying:
"The more I think about it, the more I realize there are plenty of singers out there doing very well who can't really especially sing all that great. But their voices work, their musicians are good, and they create something you can love."
Let's keep the conversation going. For today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what bands with bad singers do you want to hear?
Songs played
The Piano Has Been Drinking (Not Me) - Tom Waits
The Book of Right-on - Joanna Newsom
Girl, You Have No Faith In Medicine - The White Stripes
Sweet Jane - The Velvet Underground
Dance This Mess Around - The B-52s
Listen To Her Heart - Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers
I Want You - Bob Dylan
