Coffee Break: Autumn Equinox
by Anna Reed
September 22, 2016

Happy Fall! Today is the Autumn Equinox - where the sun rises directly in the east and sets directly in the west, illuminating the Earth pole to pole.
To many, fall signifies sweatshirt weather, pumpkins and apple orchards, brilliant colors of falling leaves, and of course, Halloween. Whatever fall means to you, we wish you all the best as you pack away your sandals and shorts and bust out your wool socks, sweaters and jean jackets.
So for today's Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that remind you of fall?
Songs played
The Flaming Lips - My Cosmic Autumn Rebellion
Earth Wind and Fire - September
Kate Nash - Pumpkin Song
The White Stripes - Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground
Big Star - September Gurls
Ella Fitzgerald - Early Autumn
The Neighbourhood - Sweater Weather
Neil Young - Harvest Moon
Do you deserve a Coffee Break? We at Oake & Riley think you do, and we want to bring coffee and treats from Gigi's Cafe to your workplace. Let us know why you'd like a Coffee Break - or request your own idea for a future topic.
