Minnesota music has not forgotten Micheal "Eyedea" Larsen, the talented rapper who died six years ago at 28 years old. Following its premiere at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival last spring, Brandon Crowson's documentary The World Has No Eyedea is being shown at the Parkway Theater on October 9, and the members of the local scene will rally around the showing to honor their friend and colleague.

The World Has No Eyedea begins playing at 7 p.m., and director Brandon Crowson (Son of A Crow Productions) will participate in an audience Q&A after the film. Several of Eyedea's friends and collaborators, including DJ Abilities and Carnage the Executioner, are slotted to perform before and after the film and discussion.

Tickets for the 21+ event cost $20.
