Jack White announced that after a stint of all-acoustic shows in 2015, he'd be "taking a break from performing live for a long period of time." In recent weeks — surrounding the release of his new collection of old acoustic recordings — White has popped up on late night television stages and even joined Cat Stevens in Nashville for a one-off performance.

On Saturday, Oct. 15, Jack White will perform his lone currently booked show at the Fitzgerald Theater as Chris Thile takes over as the new host of A Prairie Home Companion.

The unplugged B-sides, remixes, alternate versions and previously unreleased tracks heard on Jack White Acoustic Recordings, 1998-2016 will fit right in on A Prairie Home Companion.
