Barack and Michelle Obama will light the National Christmas Tree tonight, continuing a tradition that started with Calvin Coolidge in 1923.

Tonight's lighting ceremony, which will include performances from The Lumineers, Chance the Rapper and James Taylor, will broadcast in full on Monday on the Hallmark Channel.
