With their new version of "Baby It's Cold Outside" released as a single on Rock the Cause Records, Minneapolis musicians Lydia Liza and Josiah Lemanski have a hit on their hands. The single topped the streaming service's "Viral 50" chart first among American listeners, and then globally. Among recent press for the single is a feature on Nightline.

Why wasn't Bowie Gandalf?

It's been long rumored that David Bowie was in the running to play Gandalf in Peter Jackson’s classic Lord of the Rings movies. So why didn't he? In a new interview, the films' casting director Amy Hubbard confirms that Jackson had the idea to approach Bowie — but it turned out, unsurprisingly, that Bowie was just "far too busy." Just about anyone might have been too busy for that gig, though: principal photography for the trilogy lasted for over 14 months. (Billboard)
