We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this morning in the wee hours of the day at Gobbler's Knob in Punxsutawney, Pa, Punxsutawney Phil saw his own shadow, predicting six more weeks of winter.

According to NPR, Phil was feeling feisty and it took him a while to settle down before seeing his shadow. Maybe it's because he knew we're in for a long winter.
