She's recently begun releasing new music after a hiatus linked to her 2011 diagnosis with a thyroid disorder, and is working with her longtime collaborator Timbaland on a forthcoming studio album. Minaj has just landed three new songs in the Hot 100, giving her a total of 76 songs to hit that chart. Franklin has only three fewer Hot 100 hits, with 73 — but Minaj has never had a number one hit, whereas Franklin topped the chart twice, with "Respect" and "I Knew You Were Waiting for Me." All I Want for Christmas is You...Tube?

Mariah Carey took to Twitter — in her pajamas — to announce that her classic song "All I Want for Christmas is You" is being turned into an animated movie that will be released this holiday season.

Billboard reports "the plot will expand on that of Carey's 2015 children's book of the same name, which sees a young Mariah coming across a puppy named Princess and deciding that's all she wants for Christmas. In order to get Princess, though, Mariah must prove she can pet-sit Jack, a rather unruly dog who turns Mariah and her family's holiday preparations upside down."
