Minnesota-based string trio The Last Revel are out with their third full-length album, Hazard & Fate. Since we last spoke with them, they've packed up the van and headed on to the road full time. They've played for delighted fans with their energetic live shows from coast to coast, and somehow they've also found time to write a batch of new songs together, and fish for trout, and carve wooden spoons — because that's what you do on the road, right?

The Last Revel got their start while attending school in Mankato, Minn., but make their home — or park their van — in the Twin Cities now. Hazard & Fate is being released at a live show on Saturday, April 15, at the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis.
