For as hard as some people try (Brian Oake), they just cannot make a nickname happen for themselves ("Popcorn"). For others, it catches on.

This morning we played Aretha Franklin's "Baby, I Love You" for our Vinyl Tap pick, and no one can deny that Aretha is "The Queen of Soul". Many other artists have popular nicnkames and honorifics that they go by - which ones are your favorites?
