This Saturday, Local Show Host Andrea Swensson will be launching "Got to Be Something Here: The Rise of the Minneapolis Sound" at the Fitz with performances by Nooky Jones, Willie Walker, Wanda Davis, The Valdons, The Original Family Band, Andre Cymone, PaviElle and Cameron Kinghorn.

The book traces the Minneapolis Sound through two generations of political upheaval, rebellion and artistic passion, beginning in the year of Prince's birth, 1958, with the recording of Minnesota's first R&B record by a North Minneapolis band called the Big Ms.

So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that showcase the classic Minneapolis sound?
