The Smiths' classic third LP 'The Queen is Dead' has been remastered and a deluxe reissue is here... and you can enter for a chance to win a copy of the 3CD/DVD reissue.

At the time of the announcement, Morrissey had this to say:

You cannot continue to record and simply hope that your audience will approve, or that average critics will approve, or that radio will approve," he said. "You progress only when you wonder if an abnormally scientific genius would approve — and this is the leap The Smiths took with The Queen Is Dead."

The deluxe set contains remastered version of The Queen is Dead, early demos of the songs that would eventually make up the original album and a live album recorded in Boston.

In celebration of this reissue and Morrissey's new album Low in High School, Jim McGuinn will feature Smiths and Moz tracks during Saturday's Teenage Kicks (8-10 a.m. CST). And if we're lucky, we'll hear his Morrissey impression.
