It's a Christmas miracle! Liam and Noel Gallagher are "all good" and planning to spend time together for the holidays. Tweets from Liam indicate that the former Oasis partners have put an end, at least a temporary one, to their feud...which this year included public sparring on everything from the One Love Manchester concert to unconventional musical instruments.

According to Liam, Noel "reached out" and he was looking forward to seeing his brother this week. We'll see how long this détante lasts. (Noisey)

Coachella rumors fly

This year's Coachella headliners won't be announced until next month, but rumors are already afoot. If you believe what you read on the internet, you might suspect that this year's headliners will be Eminem, Beyoncé, and The Weeknd. Bey, at least, is all but locked in: she had to bail last year due to her pregnancy. The rumors get even better, though, suggesting that Beyoncés set could include a Destiny's Child reunion. (NME)

Fagen opens up

Donald Fagen has granted his first in-depth interview since the death, in September, of his Steely Dan bandmate Walter Becker. In the Rolling Stone interview, Fagen defended his decision to fight for control of the Steely Dan band name, even though he says he'd call the band's current incarnation something else if it weren't for "commercial considerations."

He also reminisced about his last meeting with Becker. "When I put a chair next to the bed, he grabbed my hand. It was something he had never done ever before. And we had a great talk and, you know, he was listening to hard bop — his wife had put on Dexter Gordon records. He was very weak but he was still very funny."

Velvet vinyl box readied

The Velvet Underground will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a six-LP vinyl box set. The set, out Feb. 23, will include four of the band's studio albums as well as Nico’s solo debut Chelsea Girl and the album titled 1969, which was set to be the Velvets' fourth LP but didn't officially see the light of day until 2014. The set, which includes a 48-page booklet with a Moe Tucker introduction, is limited to 1,000 copies. (Pitchfork)

Gaga heads to Sin City

The latest star to announce a Las Vegas residency is Lady Gaga, who will set up shop at MGM's Park Theater for a few dozen shows starting late next year. Will she open each show with a bungee jump? (Stereogum)

Rostam cooks with Mom

In a new video for Vevo, Rostam — the singer-songwriter-producer who was formerly a member of Vampire Weekend — hits the kitchen to cook some Persian food with his mother Najmieh Batmanglij, who's an award-winning cookbook author. (Spin)
