Oprah Winfrey gave a speech at last night's Golden Globes that brought the house down. She spoke of truth being people's most effective tool in achieving change.

The statement that gave her a standing ovation smack dab in the middle of her speech was: "We all have lived in a culture broken by brutally powerful men. For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dared to speak their truth to the power of those men. But their time is up!"
