Dessa hangs on to the top spot in a very tight race this week! She'll be playing up at Lutsen January 27 and is also one of the FREE shows pencilled in for Nicollet Mall during the run up to The Super Bowl, 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, January 31. Go Vikings!!

LCD Soundsystem's 'Tonite' ends its stay on the chart at #3 this week. This is the fifth time they've been inducted to our Chart Hall of Fame. They were also nominated this week for Best International Group BRIT Award which will be presented next month in London.

MGMT move up another three places to #6 this week and they announced details of the album Little Dark Age yesterday, it comes out February 9 and the USA leg of their World Tour starts at Myth in Maplewood on March 2nd.

Also up 3 spots to twelve, SZA is currently on tour for the first time down under, has already got a Grammy nomination and this week landed an NAACP Image Award for New Artist.

Sharon Jones is back on our chart! She was always totally happy on stage, never considered retiring and worked throughout her struggle with cancer to finish this posthumous release. Her extraordinary life story and interviews with the rest of the band about this final album, are nicely summed up in this recent Relix article.

Now, Now break into the basement space just in time for their show this Friday at First Avenue as part of our 13th Birthday celebration. #17 JD McPherson will be our Saturday headliner.
