Coffee Break: Concept albums
by Anna Reed
March 01, 2018

The Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota stopped by to talk about their show that is premiering this weekend: "Pink Floyd's The Wall: A Rock Ballet" and it got us thinking about concept albums.
Classical MPR says: "There will be no tutus or classical music this weekend at the Cowles Center in Minneapolis...instead, Run Like Hell, a Pink Floyd tribute band based in St. Paul, will play live using click tracks to keep time with the dancers. Aside from that technicality, the dance company is approaching this ballet just as it would with classical music: by letting the sounds inform the movement."
So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear from concept albums?
