First Aid Kit have managed to hold off a strong challenge this week from local heroes Trampled By Turtles, staying at the top for the 4th week, something no one did last year. They are playing two triumphant shows in Stockholm this week where they are described as, "our most beloved band."

Trampled by Turtles are pretty beloved here too, selling out two shows at The Palace Theater already. But it's good to see that they have also sold one out in Chicago and Washington DC.

The Decemberists are at #4 and "I'll Be You Girl" comes out this Friday. You can listen to it first through NPR.

Sylvan Esso are back after a weeks hiatus with a new single, whose video has them parading down a desert road.

Last year Dessa, down to #10, was too sick to perform the National Anthem at the Twins home opener. Let's hope she can stay well this year as she's scheduled to do it again April 5th. She even wrote a piece about practicing for it in the New York Times Magazine last weekend.

Biggest climber this week is Father John Misty who'll be headlining our Rock The Garden event this year. He seemed to do a good job down in Florida this weekend, we'll have to hope the weather is as good too!

David Byrne's new album came out on Friday and will be our Album of the Week next week. There's a lovely article about the process of making the record and performing it live in The Independent.

Lucius' new one came out last week too and is making news because of its cover songs, like Tame Impala's "Eventually" and the Leadbelly classic "Goodnight, Irene" with Roger Waters.

And Tame Impala will be headlining the Friday version of the Pitchfork Music Festival. Fellow Aussie rocker Courtney Barnett will go on right before them, July 20th this year.
