Caroline Cotter likes to dive in head first. That's what she did when she made the decision to quit her desk job and do this "folksinger thing" full time. She's just released her second full album of original material and is touring all over the U.S. as well as in Europe and in Scandinavia these days, too.

Her new release, Home on the River, hit shelves in February, and Cotter slowed down her tour long enough to stop in the Radio Heartland studio, along with singer-songwriter Michael Howard, to play a few songs from the new record.
