Listen to Looch: what has surprised you in the 893 Essential Songs countdown?

Mary Lucia is absolutely happy with everything that's appeared in the 893 Essential Songs list so far, but she throws it over to you: Has there been a song that's totally surprised you? Let us know. (Luke Taylor | MPR)

We're getting into the last couple days of the countdown of the 893 Essential Songs that you guys chose.

There have been songs that have appeared in this countdown — like Kermit the Frog's "Rainbow Connection," which was written by Paul Williams — but I didn't bat an eyelash. I've played that song so many times, both Kermit's version and Willie Nelson's version. It's a beautiful song. So nothing, honestly, has made me go, "What's wrong with people??" Not at all!

I've been absolutely happy and on board with everything. But I'll throw it to you: What song has popped up in this countdown that you think, "Oh — come on! This HAS to be a joke!" Or maybe it just completely surprised you in a good way. Let us know!
